Presented as part of the Ithaca Fringe Festival celebrating the legendary Cayuga Lake cryptid, The Ballad of Old Greeny is an original chamber opera enacted by a pair of venerable bards who roamed these lands when Old Greeny was still, well, Young Greeny!

With fifes, fiddles, and a motley hodgepodge of other obsolescent tools to help tell the tale, local band Breakfast Calculus will regale anyone foolish enough to listen with the extremely factual origin story of our beloved lake creature.
