Modeled after the original concept of chamber music—a casual gathering of musicians playing just for pleasure—this evening is an opportunity for both performers and audience to relinquish concert formalities and enjoy the experience of impromptu music-making. Program to include Mozart flute quartets and Salomon’s arrangements of Haydn symphonies, as well as sextets by Brahms and Strauss.
